Basic Info

This is a halter event. Rules are pretty simple, but the show itself is a tiny bit different. The idea is that =DaneArt and affiliates all co-host this show.
This mean that you can find this show through multiple people: info, prizes etc are the same on each show profile, so you decide on which journal to place your entry.

So in short: 1 show - multiple people hosting it together!

Hopefully this will provide more interesting prizes, more people being aware of the show and more fun hosting it ^^

This show is inspired by *Binary-star-stables and *Kalesta

SHOW DEADLINE: DECEMBER 25TH!


Show rules

1. Art must be colored, flat colors are allowed.
2. Horses must be shown full body - except in the portrait class.
3. You do not need to show handlers/riders.
4. You do not need to show background.
5. Photo parts are not allowed in any way.
6. Outline tracing photos is not allowed.
7. Any horse at any age and type is welcome.
8. No limit on entries in each class - but a horse can only enter a class once.
9. Horse most show tack in all classes - except portrait class.
10. Both realistic breeds and fantasy breeds are welcome.
11. Affiliates/hosts can enter this show themselves, but only get scores using an RNG!

Judging:

Each affiliate hosting the show take part in the judging.
When show ends, all entries are united into a single journal made by DaneArt for easy judging.
The affiliate choose to either:
A) Give 1-10 points from a Random Number Generator to each entry.
B) Give 1-10 points to each entry based on effort, art skills, pose and other parts that show effort.
C) The 50/50 method. 1-5 points for effort. 1-5 points from RNG.

Once an affiliate finish judging, all scores are sent by note to DaneArt.
DaneArt will then calculate final point scores and post those on the journal.

If two images have equal score, RNG will be used to determine final placement.

Christmas Portrait Class

Show the best side of your horse in a portrait.
Christmas as a theme must somehow be used in the portrait. You decide how.
The horse can be wearing a costume, Christmas halter, holding a pine tree branch etc.
One horse per entry.

Stud Halter

Show your best studs. Must be wearing a halter.
Stallion must be at least 3 years old.
Christmas theme is optional. Any pose is allowed, not just classic halter pose.

Broodmares and Foal Halter

Show off broodmares with foals on the side.
Christmas theme is optional. Any pose is allowed, not just classic halter pose.
Mare must be at least 3 years old.
Foal must be UNDER 1 year old.
Mare and foal(s) are judged together.
Multiple foals at right age can be show with mother, but all must be visible with more than a head on the entry.
Minimum two horses per entry.

How to enter

Upload your image to deviantart.
Transparent (PNG or GIF) backgrounds are preferred.  
COMMENT on this journal with a link to your entry.
Show host will reply to your comment, once the entry is registered - this may take some days.
Entries must in by December 25th, midnight your local time.
