Description

Bunny had been a late baby, being dropped nearly a month after all the other mares had foaled. He had come out big and he had come out with an impressive set of muscles for a kid even if he was all stock horse. It was clear from day one that he wasn't going to be a scrawny late bloomer like his dam had been. She had only finished filling in her bulldog frame a year ago when she hit her sixth year.

After the first few weeks he had grown into his independence so much that it was sometimes hard to tell which mare he belonged to as he had a habit of wandering far away from his own. With each day he'd test his boundaries to see how far off he could get before one of his many nannies, or Cricket herself, came to chase him back in with the group. He was young and he was fearless.

Markings: Two back socks, and a front right pastern, A star and an unusual snip shaped like a wave or hook, as well as acquired partial heterochromia in the right eye where he had an unfortunate brush with his own curiosity at only a week old. When the injury to his eye healed he had a spot of blue there instead of his natural brown.
Discipline: If he keeps that nice round rump of his we may try him in barrels, otherwise he will be taken into cattle work where that muscle will be good for stopping all things bovine.
Passible Traits: Ee/Aa/nCr/PAT^s For the sake of simplicity and HARPG genetics we'll say PAT^s is what gives him his unique markings. If a foal inherits the PAT^s (Pattern Suppressor) gene from him it will attempt to limit white patterns, but since it is only one copy the pattern will still show up to a medium expression of the white pattern gene, but never maximum expression.

Temperament: Bunny just wants to be with you. From day one he has been the friendliest foal born on the ranch in over a decade. When it was his turn to be halter trained before being turned out on one of the larger pastures he didn't need to be taught to come with you, he needed to be taught to stay away, there was no pulling involved, only shoving when he tried to snuggle up to the handlers. We are hoping that this is a sign of him inheriting his sire's trainability.

Among the other foals he is a bossy little cuss and pretty much has them all whipped into line excepting a few that are still cheeky enough to rebel rather that knuckle under his rules. Nothing we didn't see coming what with his dame being who she is. She has taught him how to throw his weight around very well and he uses his size to his advantage.
