Up, up and away to the Shooting Star Spring Opening Show!

It had been a while since Lou could actually relax and enjoy herself at a show. Her most recent experiences had involved too many threats of bodily harm that, more often than not, were carried out to give a lady any peace of mind.

Several weeks ago she had resigned herself to taking driving lessons at knife point. Well, not really knife point, but sometimes that's what it felt like being blessed with friends like hers. Complaints about never being able to find a handler that wasn't already entered into their driving classes with a horse of their own had somehow evolved into 'Lets make Lou do it'. She really didn't need nor want to know how the mind of the ranch owner and her toadies worked. The truth was just depressing.

Now that she found herself testing out the newest skill on her resume Lou-Anne kind of liked it. The view was odd after years of handling horses from above rather than behind, but Jimmy wasn't a bad horse.

The colt had a fluffy personality as addictive as deep fried oreos. Maybe too rich at times, but the gooey core of his spirited behavior was so worth it.

They came through the gate already flying. Arguably he had the one of the flashiest gaits of all the horses that had already entered the arena. Knees reached toward the sky working the cheesy young man's starched white legs as they joined the class on the rail.
