... and so do I. Just barely though, finals ate me alive and spit out what was left.

Now that I have the time I'm getting cracking on the rest of the homemade gifts. This is the one I'm most excited about seeing the results of. As a kid I was always fascinated by the few remaining hints of my Grandma's show career. I would sneak into the closet to play dress-up with the only outfit she had kept (man was it ever heavy), and go all starry eyed over the pair of portraits of her favorite horses all blinged out. Just saying, my Grandma was the coolest one ever to a little horse crazed lunatic in the making.

I've given her plenty of flat work in the past. This year it's going to be a Hoosier Bubbles Christmas. Yeah, that one, the legend that my HARPG baby was born from.

The model in question was a Breyer Bear. Make a TWH into a parade pony? Challenge accepted. I'm still working on fixing things that got butchered while moving limbs and putting some meat on those bones, but I already want to keep her and call her my precious <.<

*EDIT* For comparison's sake this is what the model looked like before I killed it [link]

Yours is SO much better looking even now...

I abhor every model Walker I ever see, they're just so fugly, I don't understand... the angle of the head and neck meeting is usually wonky, and the legs are always bent without regard to actual... it seems like they just kind of twist the legs back, regardless of the bends in musculature and skin it would create.

BOTTOM LINE, SORRY FOR THE SOAP BOX: I think your work here is fantastic. If I thought it might be for sale and that I might could afford it I would pitch an offer right now... However, I've one picture of my grandmother with her Costa Rican Saddle Horse and I wouldn't sell ANYTHING to do with that so... I shall just enjoy watching your progress!
