Things happen when you let a wild thing loose, or a six year old on a pony. They're about the same really.

When said six year old happens to know her letters and is still proud enough of the skill to go around reading everything with a great deal of enthusiasm it makes you wonder why no one practices eating their young anymore. Lexie was in that beautiful stage in life and she found a strange joy in narrating her Aunt's documents, whatever ones were left lying around. Imagine her youngest Uncle's dilemma when she got her paws on an out of state breeding contract and after reading it to the room out loud she asked him what A.I. was.

One of the more benign pieces of paper she had sorted through had plenty of stuff she knew about from hearing the adults talk. It was all about a jumping show and when she found a sentence that said open to all ages she was all over it like a preschool girl on a My Little Pony (Trademark Hasbro).

And what followed was a scene only a little kid could pull off. She badgered any adult she could hunt down until she had verbally worn them down with talking, talking, talking. By the end of a week she had suckered no less than two of the apprentice trainers and one sorry for himself groom into giving her a crash course in jumping while she went to work on the real hard part, talking her Aunt into hauling her to that show.
